This BRAND NEW Windmill Ornament ~kit~ includes everything you need to construct ~ONE~ beautiful miniature Nantucket style windmill of ANY COLOR (painting the pieces is part of the craft.)

This kit provides an opportunity to experience Nantucket Lightship Basket Weaving without a large initial equipment investment, and to try your hand at techniques used by craftsmen for over 100 years.

Beginner level, it includes comprehensive instructions to guide you step by step through the traditional weaving and assembly process using hand-selected high-quality materials. Three weaving pattern options are explained. Create your own heirloom ornament and partake in the Nantucket Weaving tradition.

The kit includes a mold, authentic reed weaver, wood staves, and high detail 3D printed resin pieces (not plastic!) The white resin pieces may be painted (I recommend nail polish or spray paint) according to any theme desired. Silver colored stainless swirl ornament hook and ring add whimsy and make the windmill suitable for hanging.
Ideal for a solo weaving introductory experience. Also great for social crafting: girlfriend parties, school art projects, and all manner of group therapy.
