This is a hand made cane featuring our raven skull mounted on a hardwood staff. Here's how it was made first I made the raven skull by melting aluminum at 1400 degrees and pouring it into a mold made in petrobond sand. Once cooled it is then cleaned up and buffed. Next the bottom is milled and then a 2" long aluminum collar was tig welded around that to fit around the wooden shaft. Next a 7/8" hardwood shaft is epoxied into the aluminum collar. The final step was to drill through the collar and rivet the two pieces together. MESSAGE ME TO KNOW ANY CUSTOM LENGTH YOU WOULD LIKE. Or if you prefer to cut it yourself so it’s perfect, simply take off the rubber boot at the bottom cut it and replace the boot. This is a truly unique piece that is also a functional walking aid. I had to use a cane when my hips collapsed years ago which is why I decided to make these, along with all the requests over the years from my customers. This feels good with the beak facing forward as well as facing backward if you ever used a cane for a long time your hand can get a bit raw so its nice to change how it sits in your hand. Each piece is hand made so they make look similar no two will ever be exactly the same making them truly unique pieces of functional art. The skating legend Tony Hawk purchased on of my canes and used it on the red carpet at the 2022 Oscar’s which is a true honor since he was my idol growing up.
