"Are you a Dreamer? I don't see many of them around anymore..."Waking Life" is Richard Linklater's poetic ode to dreamers and dreaming. Animated by a variety of different artists, this is a groundbreaking work of visual invention that displays a rich curiosity and generosity of spirit rarely found in movies of any era.

The Animation is done via rotoscoping with a wide variety of artistic styles, some more jerky, some more fluid. Yet, every scene is a post-modern painting as the story follows a young man (Wiley Wiggins) as he encounters a staggering variety of individuals. As he listens to their thoughts and theories he's unclear whether he's actually dreaming or just experiencing a "Waking Life". Not every experience or idea is profound but the culmination of the whole, searching, and visual lyricism seems to add up to something truly lovely and significant...

It's hard not to be moved by this trippy confection and ruminate on other interpretations of dreams...One is reminded of the great English Bard and his observation: "We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life is rounded with a sleep."

CONDITION: This Poster is in "VERY FINE" condition remarkable as it was printed over (22) years ago. This beautiful glossy "Teaser" poster is "Single-Sided" and has a unique design and layout. This wonderful artwork has no traditional credits at the bottom to obscure the feeling and spirit of the graphics. The poster has minor edge and surface wear and will look amazing Framed.

Please refer to the Photo detail and the grading status in the "9-GRADE" System graphs in the photo log. Magnets were used in the photography of these posters so as to limit handling and wear. These magnets are silver and visible in photographs in each of the poster's (4) corners.
