Amethyst Points with Goethite

Natural pieces of Amethyst points with Goethite inclusions, typically from Brazil.

These pieces are sometimes sold as having "Cacoxenite" inclusions, but this is inaccurate.
We have included some close-up photos of these gorgeous golden and black inclusions. These are taken under a 20x/400x digital microscope, gorgeous - I highly recommend studying these specimens at magnification.

The inclusions form in a 'spray' in most cases, thin needle like crystals that radiate outwards in a cone shape.
Because these are natural specimens, they do vary in size, colours, amount of inclusions, etc.

The pictures you see here are representative of the products and are usually not the exact item you will receive. Where various grades are available we do try to photograph each grade - but some photographs are still on their way!
