PAW PRINT WOODLAND CHRISTMAS STOCKING

•This is a brown plaid wool fabric Christmas stocking. The backing fabric is the same as the front.
•The cuff is made with cotton batting, which is tea-dyed by hand. It has a "paw print" hand stitched by hand on it, using black embroidery floss.
•It has a gray wool fabric wolf standing among the pine trees, which are made of dark green and plaid green wool fabric.
•The wolf is "howling" at the moon made from light gray wool fabric. The "snow flurries" are made from vintage white buttons.
•The trees, wolf, moon and buttons are all hand sewn onto a brown plaid wool using embroidery floss.
•The stocking is lined with cotton muslin fabric.
•A heavy jute twine loop makes it ready to hang.
•Fusible interfacing is added to the body of the stocking to give it durability.
•The stocking is handmade by me, in the north woods of Maine.

Finished stocking dimensions:
• 21.5" long from upper right corner of stocking to toe (56 cm)
• 8.5" wide below the cuff (21.5 cm)
• 11.5" wide from toe to heel (29 cm)
