Helping children to stop thumb sucking in a fun and positive way. Thumbsie® is a multi-award winning thumb guard and is approved by the Oral Health Foundation.

The thumb guard fits over the thumb and is secured around the wrist with velcro. Suitable for children aged 3 to 12 years old.

Available in 5 sizes. Please measure using the guide before ordering.

Size guide - Measure the length from the tip of the thumb to the break in the wrist (see image): Extra Small (up to 6.3cm) Small (up to 8.5 cm) Medium (up to 9.5cm) Large (up top 10.5cm) Extra Large (up to 12cm)

We have several fabric designs including, Stars, Camo, Flamingo, Dinosaur, Mermaid, Pirate, Cat, Dog, Butterfly and Penguin.

We at Thumbsie® strongly recommend wearing the thumb guards day and night for best results to stop thumb sucking and therefore recommend buying at least 2 for each thumb they suck.

Fabric details:
Outside: Polycotton or Cotton depending in fabric chosen.
Inside: Thumbsie® branded cotton fine warp satin fabric.
We suggest washing by hand or in the washing machine at a low temperature.

Returns: we accept returns providing the item has not be worn or washed. The guards will need to be returned in the original packaging and in a resalable condition. There is no guarantee of success and the thumb guards are an aid to stop thumb sucking. Please get in touch before returning your order.

If you are outside the UK and would like your order sent tracked then please chose the upgrade "signed for". Standard International delivery is not tracked.

We are very sorry, we no longer deliver to all EU countries. Packaging laws have made it cost prohibitive for us to deliver to some countries. If you are in the following countries your order will be cancelled and you will be refunded: Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Luxemburg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Please note that if you are ordering outside of the UK you may be liable for import taxes and custom charges. Please get in touch before returning an item. You will be responsible for the postage (and any custom charges if returning from outside the UK).

We do not offer refunds on orders or replacements that are delayed until sufficient time has been given for them to arrive. Royal Mail state that compensation for loss will not be considered for an item that has not delivered or attempted to deliver until after 20 working days after the due date (this does not include weekends or strike days).

My son is 7 and has avidly sucked his thumb since he was about 18 months old. It’s now been two weeks since he’s sucked his thumb - we’ve been using a thumbie on each hand and it’s going so so well. The first week was the hardest but the other night we forgot to put them on and he didn’t even notice ! Didn’t touch his thumb all night! They go on and off easily and are comfortable! Really a blessing !
