Really lovely rug. I adore the pattern. The tufted areas are really soft and nice, and not at all scratchy. Very luxurious. The low spaces between the tufted lines are pretty small, so the rug feels soft all over. The rug happily has no perceptible smell, although the shipping plastic had a somewhat unpleasant odor, but that was gone as soon as we disposed of the plastic. Took a few weeks to ship, but that’s perfectly understandable for the weaving time, and the shop let me know exactly what to expect. Very communicative and thoughtful shop. Would buy again happily!

Seller's description

Specifications

May include: A white Moroccan rug with a geometric pattern. The rug has a fringe border and is made of wool.

This beautiful and wonderful artistic tufted berber white wool stiped rug is hand-woven by Berber women in the Atlas mountains, using techniques that are being passed from generation to generation. Every rug is the unique and complete imagination of the weaver artisan. This Berber rug is from Ben Ourain tribe. The women make use of undyed natural wool to decorate rugs with traditional geometrical designs. These magnificent and sophisticated Moroccan rugs beautifully connect the ancient history of nomadic Berber tribes with modern-day interiors through fascination. Every rug is entirely handmade and then washed and dried in the mountain air. These rugs go perfectly well with all interior styles, including Traditional, Bohemian, Minimalist, Modern, and Scandinavian, making it the best choice for your needs. Beni Ourain rugs have also been featured on the cover of the world's leading home decoration .
