This is a very scarce example of amazing design and it is virtually not possible to find, so here is your chance! When I came across it and held it in my hands I was stunned by genius idea behind this simple, but absolutely gorgeous piece. Made by Carlton Ware, Carlton Works, Stokes on Trent, Staffordshire , England C1950.

Oval in shape platter , almost a shallow bowl. There is a wavy rim and molded swirled lobes on inside. Hand painted in lustrous black and gold. Distinctive Art Deco style and striking beauty, it is amazing!

Size - 29,8 cm long, 20 cm wide, aprox 3,5 cm high

Stamped at the back as shown and number impressed.

Condition is very good, with very little wear and some very light scratches (please see last photo) consistent with age. No repairs or cracks, no chips.

It will be posted well packed with tracking, signature on delivery and insurance.
