Vintage from the 1950s
Materials: plastic, paper, cardboard

Pair of wonderful mid-century salesman's sample button display cards featuring "Streamline" Brand buttons. I love the tweed and felt fabric accents, and the color schemes of tan, cream, brown, grey, navy and a touch of rose. Great graphics, plus original labels attached to back. Buttons sewn on display cards; machine stitching evident on the back. Assortments are labeled as "Cabot #43549" and "Galen #43516".

These would look wonderful mounted on dark fabric or corduroy, and framed as a gift for a boy's room or man's office. Or incorporate them into your mid-century, industrial or primitive decor. Or you could utilize this in a crafting, mixed media, scrapbooking or assemblage project. They also would look great on the cover of a scrapbook or photo album, or on a large collage or mixed media piece. Tons of possibilities.

Dimensions: Cards measures 9-1/16" by 6-3/4"; Button = 13/16" in diameter (all but one).

Condition: Wonderful to excellent vintage condition overall. One card is almost pristine, with the tiniest bit of edge wear and a few light stray marks near edge. Other one has a bend/paper disturbance at lower section and a bit of corner/edge wear.Wonderful overall. (See photos for details of condition.)
