How long does it take to make a beautifully customized handkerchief?

Creation of your order depends on the level of customization. The more personalization and customization you wish to have, the longer it will take us to make sure it’s perfect! We will provide a time frame on each item listing, so you will have a realistic expectation of when to anticipate shipping. Rest assured, it is our priority to get your gift to you as quickly as possible! Do remember, that the actual time it takes to leave us and deliver to you is dependent upon your location and the pace of the United Postal Service.

I have my own message I would like to use, may I use it or do I have to select one already provided?

Of course you can use your own! Who better to express your love and appreciation than you? Please see our custom listings or choose the "write my own" option and be sure to double-check your message and personalization details before you submit. What you submit is exactly what you get! Please note that we do reserve the right to not print anything that is copywritten and/or published by another person.

What happens if something is wrong?

We strive to be 100% accurate and pay close attention to detail. We are also 100% human. If you feel an error has been made, please contact us ASAP! We can work together to find a solution and will make it right if we have made an error.

How exactly do you make these handkerchiefs?

We start with a premium polyester base. Why polyester? Polyester allows the final product to have a rich, vivid image AND be safely washed and ironed. Other handkerchiefs made with cotton need to be spot cleaned otherwise they will wash out with just a single wash. Who has time or money to waste on that?! Onto our polyester base we apply an eco-friendly, pigment based ink which is ideal for our polyester material. We use this technique to maintain crisp text and graphics. Because... what’s the point in personalizing exactly the perfect thing to say if nobody can read it?!

We pride ourselves on not only providing a beautiful keepsake, but proving a functional one as well. Our premium polyester handkerchiefs are machine washable! Recommendation for Lock Stitch Hankies: Cold water is recommended, but I have personally washed these hankies in every possible wash cycle and they've come out just as beautiful every time. Recommendation for Lace Edge Hankies: Cold water is recommended with a gentle cycle. While the polyester is able to withstand any temperature and or wash cycle, the lace edge is best cared for gently. Hand washing is another great option. Air drying is also recommended as the lace is susceptible to a bit of shrinkage.

Can I see a proof of my order before it ships?

For CUSTOM orders? Absolutely! Yes. For standard message listings? Sorry. No. Only custom orders come with a proof (gifts specifically noted as "custom" or "write my own." Rest assured, if ordering one of our standard message gifts, your order will be just as pictured only with your personalization details. We take great pride in our products and will be fully focused on making sure the formatting and application are perfect! Your job is to let us know exactly what you want to say; our job is to make it beautiful.

Can I add an item to my order?

Sadly, no. You will need to place that order separately. We do not have the ability to add to your existing order. With all items shipping FREE though, the only real dilemma is that it may arrive at a different time than your initial order.
