Knife stropping set contains an 11” long wooden double-sided leather paddle strop. Besides a leather strop, it has two made in USA TechDiamondTools polishing compounds: 4,000 Grit polishing diamond paste and 8,000 Grit diamond lapidary compound with light 10% concentration of diamond powder.
Leather knife strop kit is suitable for: knife sharpening and honing, wood carving tools sharpening and honing, razor sharpening and honing, pocket knives and chef’s knives sharpening and honing, chisel sharpening, ax sharpening, etc.
One side of the sharpening strop is rougher than the other one. The dual surfaces of the leather stropping block in combination with diamond polishing paste provide just the right amount of abrasion to allow you to sharpen your knives and tools to a razor-sharp edge.
Diamond paste will help to make a blade extra-sharp and maintain it that way. Use a rough side of knife honing strop with a 4,000 Grit polishing paste, and, then, a smooth side with an 8,000 Grit diamond strop compound.
