Vintage handmade trinket / jewellery box - leather exterior with wood veneer lining.

Small vintage trinket box. Appears to be handmade.
Exterior is made from a mid-brown/tan leather. Lined with what appear to be thin strips of unpolished wood veneer.
Hinged lid. Two compartments internally.

Age uncertain. It isn't hugely old but it does have some age to it. I am guessing that it probably dates from the 1960s or thereabouts.

Dimensions (measured externally) approx. 5 3/4" x 3 5/8" x 1 3/4" or approx. 14.5 cm x 9.3 cm x 4.5 cm

In good condition. Some minor scuffing but no major flaws. Structurally sound. No obvious marks or staining. A very nice item. Please see photos for more information. Please note that it has proved difficult to reproduce the colours totally accurately in the photos
