Corriedale Felting wool. For Needle & Wet Felting, Spinning. Choice of colours and choice of weight from 20gms to 100 gms

Corriedale Wool is ideal for Needle Felting (both 2D and 3D), Wet Felting & Spinning. Corriedale feels thicker than the finer Merino Wool yet it is still soft to the touch.

The wool is 25-30 micron and has a staple length of 80-120mm.
Depending on how much you order this may be supplied to you vacuum packed which makes it letter box friendly - generally speaking up to 150 gm will be vacuum packed if possible but over that is more likely to go Hermes
Please remember that this is a natural product and therefore can vary from batch to batch in the dyeing process. I do try to reproduce the colours as accurately as possible but the resolution can vary between different computer screens/tablets etc.
(To give you a guide 20gms is approximately 3' (90cm) long. I say approximate as this is dependent on the thickness of the roving so it can be shorter or longer - hence why it is sold by weight).
The roving is sourced from non-mulesed sheep from both Australia and South America and is dyed to conform to Oeko-Tex100 quality system and conforms also with EN71 making it safe and child friendly and colourfast. Please remember though that felting needles are very sharp if you are working with children.
