HOW IT IS MADE: very thin sheets are cut from the bark of cork oak tree or from cork blocks and adhered to a textile backing/support. The video shows the striped pattern using an organic off-white backing.

We work with a small sized local factory in Portugal for a long time. Although many sellers use the "made in Portugal" label, almost all cork fabrics use Portuguese cork but are not made in Portugal
