This lovely antique 9 karat rose and yellow gold ring features a series of tiny turquoise beads that frame a single deep red Bohemian garnet. A truly fantastic piece from the Aesthetic movement of the Victorian and Edwardian eras, 1880-1910. These unique gems are held in place by gold bezels with beautifully embossed starburst to the setting. The base of the band is slim and is not recommended to be sized. The face of the ring measures 15.7mm from North to South and the base of the band measures 3.2mm wide. There is a maker's hallmark at the outer base of the band that looks like a letter D, there is no gold stamp. The ring has been cleaned to a bright gold shine. There is some surface wear to the gold and the stones show wear, as well as a divot to one of the turquoise beads. The total weight of the ring is 2.1 grams.

The ring size is US size 9 1/2 and is not recommended to be resized.

GENERAL CARE:
We encourage you to have your items checked and cleaned by a local jeweler every 6 months to make sure all gemstones are tight and that the piece is in good condition to wear. It is not uncommon for gemstones to become loose over time and it is best to fix stones when they are loose instead of replacing a lost stone.
CLEANING:
Your jewelry will always look its best if it is clean. The diamonds and gemstones will sparkle like new. Most pieces can easily be cleaned with warm soapy water and an old soft toothbrush, but please contact us if you have any questions or concerns as some older pieces should never be submerged in water. You are always welcome to stop in at your local jeweler and have your jewelry cleaned at any time.

Sadly I do not offer sizing services at this time. I am always happy to give advise and recommendations regarding sizing. Antique rings can be problematic when they are sized more than 2 sizes smaller or larger. Be advised that more cost may be added by your jeweler if stones need to be re-set or if more gold is added to secure gems in place after sizing your ring.
