The Desire Ring | Gold

A vintage curved stamping turned into a ring, floral elements stamped and etched into the facade of this ring. Decades of sitting in the back of a warehouse, these brass bands have varying stages of patina but come sealed with Renaissance wax to keep them trapped in time. Layer the ring with simple stacks of bands, or wear your Desire alone on your fingers.

For all costume jewelry (pieces made from repurposed vintage), please take care to:

Keep away from liquids (pool, shower), chemicals (perfumes, lotions), and wipe off excess sweat.

Wipe down pieces with a dry, soft cloth when you have finished wearing them.

For jewelry which is marked as "sterling silver"/"silver filled"/"gold filled" please take extra care to wipe down with a damp cloth.

Regardless of the plating/metal concentration, to extend the longevity of your item, please minimize exposure to the above elements and wipe down after wearing for excessive periods of time.

From my experience, the best way to maintain the condition of your jewelry is to take good care of it!

Custom and personalized orders are some of my absolute favorites to make -- its wonderful to see what my skills and the creative input of my clients can end up creating!

My customized orders follow the same process (may differ slightly due to quantities/materials used):

1. Initiate a Convo via Etsy -- please let me know what you're looking for! You can send me images, links, whatever you feel conveys your vision fully.

2. I will send sketches of the piece(s) for your initial approval, as well as a tentative cost breakdown and payment place for the order.

3. Once agreed upon, you will need to submit a deposit of either $50 (if total is under $200) or 50% (if total is over $200).

4. Piece(s) shipped when final payment is made.

2021 UPDATE: I have updated my shop to allow you to have your gift packaged and shipped in a recyclable box, filled with beautiful filler and the jewelry in a satin pouch!

Unfortunately, I found that gift wrapping packages leads to greater waste, and as such, am no longer offering wrapping except the Gift option mentioned above. This way, I can ensure my packaging remains as sustainable and intentional as possible.

I love the concept of this ring, but it turned my finger green in about two hours. Also, the red gems fell off in about a day. This is overpriced and not worth it. Save your $48 and buy real gold or silver.

I have contacted the buyer via both Etsy convo and email, with no response. I 'road test' every piece I make prior to listing for sale, so I wanted to find out from the buyer what went wrong here to prevent anyone else from the same experience. My goal is always to make the buyer 100% happy, so I also offered a full refund. Its possible that the buyer may have been sensitive to the copper in the brass ring (material indicated in the listing), turning the finger green. Also, I use the same industrial adhesive as used by professional jewelers. While I did not have any issues in testing this piece, I'm researching other adhesives which may be more secure without compromising the vintage materials used. Unfortunately, without any response from the buyer, I am unable to resolve this issue.

Finally got this awesome ring in today, so I'm finally able to write about it. One thing I didn't expect is that there's no band whatsoever--this is a cuff ring, which allows for more fitting-friendly adjustments. For those of you with longer fingers, this chain is gonna look wonderful dangling down (also a tad longer than I expected). Anyone with short-ish fingers (like myself) might spend a bit of time deciding what looks and feels right on you, but ultimately I think I chose a placement that fits me just fine. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my purchase! Miss Nita is courteous and quick to respond to questions, and an overall good artisan to buy your finger armour from :D

I wore this necklace on my wedding day! I absolutely love it. Customer service was amazing, she was on top of informing me of delays because of the hurricane and even offered me a refund if I wished. I wanted it either way, it is a beautiful neck torc. I was just lucky it made it in the nick of time!
