I built this bunk bed for my eight year old a few years ago and practically all of her friends want one as well. Since I haven't figured out how to clone myself in order to make more, I have decided to create some plans so that handy dads all over the world can build one for their daughters as well. Our personal American girl doll collection has grown from two to five including a Bitty Baby so I'm sure that I'll be making more eventually. These plans contain 12 pages of detailed engineering drawings, a tools list and a materials list. There are a multitude of decorative finials and dowel caps that can be used to modify the design very easily depending on the style that you are looking to emulate. I always start every project with very thorough CAD drawings and validate the drawings during construction to ensure that my projects have been documented to exact specifications. As far as skill level; I would rate this project in the easy range.
