Wood flowers are made from a soft wood similar to balsa. While lightweight they are also fragile. Tips on keeping your flowers looking new: Keep out of direct sunlight. Colors may fade over time. If your flowers collect dust, dust them with a hair dryer on the "cool & low" setting. Flowers are made from real organic material (wood). They can mold if they are kept in an airtight container for long periods of time. Essential and fragrance oils can be applied to the underside of the flowers, preferably with an eyedropper. oils will discolor the tops of the flower.
