The Cat Malo - Inspired folk art design with artisan techniques.

This artglass rendition of a bad cat, is an exceptional handblown glass ornament, in collaboration with our chosen studio of glassblowers from Czestochowa, Poland.

To create this shape, the ornament glass is blown into a painstakingly designed metal mold.
When complete, the inner ornament is coated with silver.
This produces not only impressive reflection [it is now a mirror] but also through the multiple layers of lacquers, produces considerable depth of color.

And again, we go to exceptionally skilled artists to pull of the riot of color and precision work, that our designs require.
This bright yellow, handpainted design is created through layering details with numerous colors of lacquer and paint.
