Luxury Jacquard Ribbon/Fleece Adjustable 50mm Wide Greyhound/Lurcher/Sighthound/Mastiff/Great Dane Martingale Dog Collar- Multiple Designs

These collars were originally designed for sighthound breeds because their necks tend to be bigger than their heads, meaning they can slip out of a standard collar. The Martingale is made of two loops- when the dog pulls on a lead the collar tightens and loosens gently without damaging the neck like choke chain and will remain comfortably loose when the collar is not being pulled. The wide 50mm webbing evenly distributes the pressure across the neck.

This listing offers a fabulous range of high quality jacquard/woven ribbon with either polar fleece, velvet ribbon or crushed velvet (sky blue flowers) lining in the Martingale style. Brown Floral is Corduroy fabric (pictured here in the 38m wide variation). 50mm wide webbing with metal fittings. The Salmon pink/yellow design is offered without a lining for those who want lighter weight (any of our designs can be made without a lining- please just ask)!

TO MEASURE: Take 3 measurements:
A (largest point including ears)
B (smallest part of neck behind ears)
C (where the collar would naturally sit -around the middle of the neck. A&B may be the same in sighthounds breeds).
The collar needs to be large enough to fit over the head at point A but not too large that it won’t fit correctly at B. Point C is where the collar naturally sits when relaxed.
When in situ on your dog, when you pull on the D ring on the control loop, the two sides of the loop shouldn’t touch (if they do, the collar is too loose and can be tightened with the triglide).

Collars are suitable for hand washing. Please note that as many of these ribbons are woven/embroidered, they may hitch over time (which can be burnt back)- we offer fabric martingales for those who need less delicate!

*IMPORTANT*
All our products are crafted to be high in quality and durable but the life span of the product will depend on the activity levels etc of the dog. The Antique Brass and Rose Gold Metalware are the most susceptible to water damage and if in frequent contact (particularly salt water) or left wet, then they can be prone to rust and corrosion. We therefore recommend that products with antique brass/rose gold hardware are not used for water loving dogs! We are very happy to make these designs with silver coloured Metalware instead which uses stainless steel D rings- please just ask!

If your item is faulty within 60 days we can offer a refund or replacement but this does not include general wear and tear. General wear and tear will occur as with all items that are worn on a regular basis- if we buy a t-shirt and then rip it running through the woods, this is wear and tear- literally! *Please be aware that some of the ribbons can be susceptible to hitching depending on the weave. If your dog likes to scratch at their collar a lot- it might be better to opt for a fabric collar! Any hitches can be carefully burnt back with a lighter.*
