Learn how to do kumihimo braids on a portable foam loom, like the Kumiloom. These are easy step-by-step instructions for beginners with drawings and photos. It includes instruction for both 8-strand braids and 16-strand braids, plus a formula for determining how much cord you will need for specific braid lengths. You will also have some tips and guidance in placing colors on your loom to create particular color patterns in a braid.
