We’ve teamed up with the talented local ceramicist Katie Preece to create this bespoke flecked stoneware clay version of our signature double disc Aureole wall light. The bespoke pattern imprinted onto the hand built clay slabs is inspired by the Irish legend, ‘The Children of Lir’; an abstract representation of swan feathers on rippling lake waters. The discs are glazed on the inside in either all white or white and pink, leaving a gorgeously tactile raw clay edge.
We love: Everything about these legendary special edition lights

KP Studio is about finding beauty in the everyday. Since growing up in rural Hampshire, Katie felt a strong affinity with the natural world, which manifests in the earthy textures, patterns, materials and muted tones in her ceramics.
After studying printmaking there was organic progression to marry lino-cutting techniques with the tactile surface of clay. Katie’s goal is to sidestep trends and subvert mass production by embracing slow, low-waste design processes that celebrate irregularity, champion Earth and, together, form one-off homewares pieces that can be cherished for a lifetime.
Together we have worked to create two beautiful lights, inspired by Spark & Bells Irish heritage as well as Katie’s signature printmaking style.
All our lights come with a 10 year Warranty Guarantee.
