Vintage Glass Seed Bead Collar Necklace: Lacey Victorian Style

Seller's description

This gorgeous collar is made entirely of glass seed beads and it is very old. it was sold to me by an antique dealer who said it was victorian. I have no proof of this but I do know beads and these are old. Id say they are at least 70 years old. The fasten is a later addition but again this button is an old one, probably 1950s and glass. This collar probably holds many secrets from over the years. I often wish some of my items could speak, what tales they would tell!
There are no faults other than two slightly discoloured beads at the neckline see photo no. 2 for a good view of this. Being all old glass this is heavy! My lovely daughter modelled it for me and she was shocked at how heavy this is.

Not something you see very often and quite beautiful this would make a really special gift for someone you love.
Totally wearable but please handle with respect as it could be over 100 years old.

How fantastic would it look on a bride!

This would also be great framed on black velvet and hung on the wall.
No one else will have one quite the same that's for sure.

This can be just displayed or worn and is quite special.
