Inspired by traditional Japanese Kohakuto crystal candy these handcrafted confections are made with Aga Agar and carefully handcut into gemstone-inspired shapes and slowly dried to create a crystal shell.
Each jewel has a lightly crisp and crunchy outside with a soft, jello like center.
Flavors included are Apple, Orchard, Blueberry Bliss, Melon Splash, Litchi, Passion Fruit, Wild Strawberry

This is my favorite kohakutou I've ever tried! The "gems" are gorgeous, all the flavors are delicious, and the crunch is perfect. I love the variety of shapes among them, the colors are well presented, they were dusted with just a touch of edible glitter, and it's just so satisfying to bite into them! Even the "ziplock bag" they came in was a nice bag. (I didn't order the gift box option since there were a treat for myself.) Love it so so much!
