How does shipping work for international buyers?

All items are shipped from Canada. Shipping comes with tracking and insurance automatically if you are in Canada or the USA. If you are outside of North America, your might be sent with or without tracking depending on where you are. I will notify you if your package will be sent without tracking and if I don't hear back within 48 hours, it will be shipped this way. If you need tracking, please contact me before or right after your purchase to make arrangements. If I do not hear from you and the package is sent without tracking, I will NOT be held responsible for any loss or delays within the postal process.

What if I have not received my order?

Occasionally, shipping delay could happen. I always try to ship within 1-3 business days after an order is placed. Once it's shipped, I can no longer control what happens to the package. If you must receive your package before a certain date, please contact me before purchase to see if it can be guaranteed depending on your location. If you would like to receive your package sooner, please also contact me to upgrade shipping service at your cost. If you are not prepared for the slight chance that your package might take a while to arrive, then please do not purchase from my shop.

What if my order arrives broken?

I take full responsibility for damages that occur during shipping. I am very good at packing china items but occasionally, a package gets thrown around or crashed and its content breaks. If this happens to your package, please do not hesitate to let me know and I would be happy to refund in full plus shipping.

What if my order is not as described?

For vintage china items, I only guarantee "no chip, crack, or crazing" if it's mentioned as so. If an item is described as such but you find the contrary, please send me a message with photographs and I would be happy to provide a solution. Please note that wear, signs of use, certain manufacturing traces, such as bubbles, paint smudge, slight colour fading, slight gold loss, dent under glaze, etc, should be expected with vintage china. I would not be able to provide return or refund for any of these issues even though they are not mentioned in description. It is essential that you view and zoom in all pictures before purchasing. If you have particular needs, please message to confirm you are happy with the condition of my item.

Would you be able to reserve an item for me?

Yes, I love to reserve listings for customers. My general rule is that for new customers, I would be able to reserve a listing for up to 24 hours. For repeat customers, I am more flexible. Please message me if you would like me to reserve anything for you!

Who is responsible for customs, duties and other related charges?

All items are shipped from Canada. For International orders, the receiver's country might charge customs, duties, etc and shipping companies might charge certain fees to assist with the processing of customs and duties. These fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer, not the seller.

Can I cancel an order?

It is recommended that buyers make up their mind fully before placing an order. If the order has already been marked as shipped, then I will not be able to cancel it. If the item has not been shipped, then I "might" agree to cancel it at my discretion. $5 CAD restocking fee will be charged in such case.

Vintage from before 2007

No chip or crack no crazing. There’s a manufacturing short line on edge of cup under glaze. It’s marked. Both pieces have high pitched ping. No gold loss or noticeable wear except slight wear to the gold on saucer as shown in pictures.
