If you've ever changed pellets on a pellet grill then you know the frustration that can be involved when using the pellet chute. Emptying out the hopper often results in pellets getting scattered all over the ground, patio, deck, or wherever you have your grill. Due to the placement of the wheels it is difficult to get a bucket in the correct position to catch the pellets. With this easy to use attachment, it will direct the pellets into a much smaller path and makes it much easier to keep pellets going where you want them to go.

No modification to your grill is needed(other than removal of a bracket on certain models, see pictures) This pellet slide utilizes embedded magnets in the base which allows you to simply put it in place. Has a viewing window at the top so that you can see exactly where you are lining it up in relation to the hole in your hopper. This window also allows you to remove any stubborn pellets that may get stuck at the edge of the hopper once it reaches that last few pellets. Removal is just as easy, pulls right off allowing you to still use your cover without interference. Can be stored under the hopper or to one of the legs without getting in the way of the cover. ***Do not store on the barrel or anywhere that gets hot during cooking***

This is 3d printed out of petg which has a glass transition temperature of 185F(the temperature at which it will start to deform and warp) so should be able to withstand any ambient environmental temperatures however I do recommend not storing in direct sun for long periods of time.

This particular pellet slide was designed to fit Traeger hoppers of various models. The opening of the pellet slide is slightly larger than the opening of the hopper to prevent any bottle necking issues while emptying your pellets. May fit other models, please measure your hopper cleanout prior to ordering. Opening on the chute between the magnets is 4.5" wide and will work on pellet dispensary holes up to that width.
