“These handmade baskets are exactly as advertised and extraordinarily beautiful! Ms. Joy put every bit of her soul into making these and I'm honored to now own them. They are so well constructed and I just love them! Ordering and receiving them went super smoothly.”

This has to be one of the most beautiful baskets I’ve seen; the quality exceeded expectations. It’s hand crafted in Jamaica, sturdy, well structured and such great attention to detail. This is by far one of the best gifts I’ve purchased on Etsy & could see myself purchasing more as gifts or for myself. The seller, Wellesley, is responsive to any questions, and shared additional shipment tracking detail as it was being shipped from Jamaica. Wellesley was an absolute pleasure to communicate with. If you’re considering purchasing this item or anything else from this Etsy store, I would strongly recommend!

Seller's description
Specifications
Looking for traditional Jamaican baskets? These are your best bet, thanks to Ms Joy who continues to weave authentic honey comb Jamaican baskets (straw baskets) the old time way.
Approximate size:
Length: 13 inches
Width: 8 inches
Height: 11 inches
I actually ran into her on my way from Mandeville and had a quick wrap with her. Among other things, she spoke about how long she has been making authentic Jamaican baskets (over 30 years), the type of baskets she makes (honey comb / straw baskets), the materials she uses (dried coconut palm branches and thatch tree), her views on the outlook of the industry, where she gets supplies and how she can be contacted.
I've partnered with her to get her baskets to you in a cost efficient way, anywhere in the world!
