People can get a little confused on obtaining the correct measurement for their dog’s neck when ordering a customized collar, here is the best way I can assist you with this task — to accurately measure your dog’s neck size, you should measure the very center of their neck with a cloth measuring tape (string will work if you don’t have the tape) and pull it to be “snug” but not tight to their skin. Do NOT measure your dog’s current collar. If you’re ordering a slip collar, also be sure to take into consideration the size of your dog’s head for placing it on and off of your dog — I use the rule of thumb that you should be able to comfortably fit two fingers in between your dog’s collar and your dog’s neck while they’re wearing the collar
