How are these items protected from the weather?

I use 2 coats of an exterior polyurethane to help protect these items from the weather but please keep in mind that they are handcrafted wooden items and extreme weather conditions may be hard on them. This shop cannot offer refunds or exchanges on items after they are safely shipped.

Refunds and Exchanges

This shop does not accept exchanges. Replacements are provided on items that break during shipping but you will need to provide pictures of the broken item. As Shipsurance (shipping insurance company used by Etsy) requires certain requirements in order to file a claim, you as the buyer will need to provide the pictures and information they request. While each item is given 2 coats of exterior clear sealer to help protect them this shop can make NO guarantee as to how an item will stand up to the weather conditions in your area. If you need to cancel an order please contact me within 2 days of purchasing. I am unable to cancel your order once I have began working on your item.

What if my item breaks during shipping

The shipping process is my least favorite since it is out of my control. I package each item as good as possible to keep them protected and while rare a shipping accident can happen. If your item arrives broken please send pictures so that I can file a shipping claim and begin a new one for you. Most importantly please inspect your items within 7 days of their arrival. As the shipper I only have a certain amount of time that I can file a shipping claim once the item has been delivered. After 7 days I can no longer replace your item or correct the situation.

This is made from 1/2" fir plywood. It is handcrafted, hand painted and then coated with 2 coats of poly-urethane which is applied to the front and back for protection. The backs are painted with either gray or white exterior paint. It will come with a piece of metal conduit that can be attached to the back to make it easy to display in your yard.

Production and processing time do vary throughout the year depending on my current open orders and up coming holidays. It is common for my shop to temporarily close without notice due to high volumes of sales. This is very common during the Halloween and Christmas seasons so please order in plenty of time. At the peek of the holiday season processing times can reach 4-8 weeks. Again please order early to insure that your item makes it in time for the desired holiday.
