vintage sitting pretty glassware - This is a highly collectible and lovely large piece of GREEN - CARLTON WARE (carltonware) - this line from the 1930's is known as Floral Embossed Salad Ware and the pattern is APPLE BLOSSOM GREEN (such a stunning soft apple green the pictures don't do it justice) - OH SO LOVELY!

This large triangular dish has a twig looking handle and is layers of leaves with the most stunning of CARLTON WARE patters the lovely APPLE BLOSSOM spray dripping into the bowl.

This large bowl measures in at approx 10"across at the widest and longest points and stands approx 1 1/2" tall - and is marked with the classic Carlton mark as shown in pics and embossed with the notation of 1617/9 with two small initials notations under the glaze as shown it is in near perfect condition given its age with a few small tiny chips on the backside only at the point and on the fluted edge - none on the top surface and no cracks - generally very good.

CARLTON WARE in this SALAD WARE series remains as popular and as collectible as the day it was issued - lovingly packed for safe shipping (100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK IN ALL 6 OF MY SHOPS)

Cant give it any star ratings because the book never arrived. I sent them a text via Etsy asking where the product was and they didnt reply. I then asked for a refund which they have agreed to . The email I received was curt and to the point. It was showing on their site that the item had not been sent so who knows where it is. Wouldnt order from them again. I have now re ordered on Amazon

surface mail from Canada to the UK can take a very long time and also no tracking numbers supplied for this least cost shipping. I happily immediately refunded when requested - even though the book may still show up. I never received a 'text' via Etsy ... not even sure how that works ... only message was a request for refund which I happily responded with 100% funds returned (even though I am out the book and the $) Sorry our postal system is unreliable and a long wait.

received my plate after more than 2 months. never anticipate the surface mail would take that long, back to the '60! could be better informed of the delay if the seller knew beforehand.

This buyer was made well aware that the postal surface mail system in these covid times is brutally slow globally and beyond any sellers control - and this buyer chose the cheapest method of shipping surface mail ... knowing it was easily a 2 to 3 month wait and no tracking on small parcel surface ... it arrived and I am greatly disappointed he then chose to give me a 2 star rating inspite of many convo's and a slow shipping his choice and beyond my control ... I do not recommend this difficult buyer to all the hard working well intentioned Etsy sellers.

Book is exactly as described. Exactly the condition it was described to be in which is super appreciated. I love it so much! Seller was fast to reply and shipped item super quickly. I favorited shop and will definitely purchase from them again.
