Desk Details

This industrial style desk is made with 100% FSC certified and sustainably grown wood, purchased from the local wood recycling business.

The electric base is made of steel and it's available in black or white. The height range is from 71cm to 121cm and the load capacity is up to 80kg. If you would like a desk with a fixed height, you can check the full range of our office furniture at http://pastosco.etsy.com

The frame has a single motor for the smaller sizes and has a weight capacity of 75kg. This is more than enough for a large heavy monitor, laptop, synthesiser/midi keyboard, and a few other desk accessories and bits of equipment! The larger sizes come with a dual motor frame which has a 120kg weight capacity. All of the frames come with 5 year manufacturer warranty and the motors have 3 year manufacturer warranty.

We make every single desk to order so if the listing dimensions aren't suitable for what you are after, please feel free to contact us directly with your desirable dimensions. Please note that due to the nature of the wood we are working with, there may be a variation of 1-2cm but if you need the measurements to be exact, please let us know and we'll ensure it's done CM perfect!

The rustic desk in the photos is finished with a Dark Oak wood stain which is water based as well as eco friendly. There are more colour variations such as the ones that can be seen in the samples photo. The desktop can also be painted or stained to your preferred colour if non of the above choices are suitable.

Wood Characteristics

Wood is a living, breathing material. It responds to its environment and, like all living things, it ages. Natural wood has characteristics which include knots, variations in grain and differences in colour. Drying the wood properly reduces splitting and warping but because wood is living, its moisture content will fluctuate based on the humidity of its surroundings and will cause some natural movement. Our products are thoughtfully designed, manufactured and finished with care, to allow for this natural movement of the wood.

Any imperfections in solid wood reveal its age and history and the reclaimed planks that we use for our pieces may be faintly uneven and may cup or bow very marginally over time. These variations in the wood are to be expected and celebrated and we promise that they will not affect the functionality or structural integrity of the piece. In truth, these little imperfections enhance the unique character of the furniture which means that you can be certain that no other piece will be exactly like yours.

Logistics

This desk will be delivered flat packed to eliminate the risk of damage during transit. A simple assembly will be required to install the legs. Screws will be provided!

We are delighted to ship to customers outside the UK. We do, however, need to receive a shipping quote from our couriers before we can confirm the final price with you. So, please get in contact for a quote before you make a purchase.
