The LipSense system has 3 parts - the color, the gloss, and the remover! You will always want to "lock" your color with a gloss on top, which will also take care of the "dry" feeling. LipSense is made with cosmetic grade alcohol, which is what gives you the amazing wear with the color; but without gloss on top, it will be very uncomfortable and dry.

1) Clean your lips: Scrub gently with warm water and allow them to dry completely.

2) Shake the tube vigorously: Apply three thin layers in one direction. Allow each coat to dry completely between layers. DO NOT touch your lips together.

3) Apply Gloss: Cover your lips completely with one of the many hydrating SeneGence glosses. You can rub your lips together now. Reapply gloss as needed.

Ooops! Remover is the best way to remove your LipSense color since it was made for this exact purpose. It can also be used to prep and clean your lips before applying LipSense. You can also use the Foops! Makeup Remover. It is available in liquid form and wipes. If you don't want to use either of these options, any makeup remover should do the trick.

There are a wide variety of options for your gloss! The classics are glossy and matte, which will provide a locking gloss coat that does not change the base color of your LipSense. The colored glosses range from very minimal tint to deeply pigmented shades. These glosses will alter your base color. Many people (myself included) choose to just wear a colored gloss without LipSense. You can build your own favorite LipSense look just by changing your gloss color.

💙Exfoliate your lips gently before applying.
💙Always shake your tube before applying.
💙Apply gloss throughout the day.
💙Cease the use of wax based products like chapstick and allow your lips to exfoliate naturally.
💙If your lips begin to flake or peel when first starting LipSense, that means your lips are going through an exfoliation period. This is good!
