50 Chrysanthemum Sola Wood Diffuser Flowers 3cm Dia.

This is a set of 50 Chrysanthemum sola wood diffuser flowers in 3cm Diameter. They are made for diffuser perfume, bride bouquet and any natural decoration design. These flowers are very good to absorb liquid and color.

For making bride bouquet, sola flower is very light weight and never wither. Just like natural dry wood, it will turn yellow after long time (more than 1 year) and give antique look. However, the brown bark will peel off, the thin layer will fly away as dust. But this will happen after a year.

How to add reed for using as diffuser?
These Flowers didn't come with reed. If you would like to use them as flower diffuser then you can add the reed by yourself. (Reed have to be ‘Rattan Reed’ or ‘Mai Nga’ which has ability to absorb liquid by its hole throughout the length. Not all kind of reed can be used) Pin the little hole under the flower with sharp metal to make a small path way for inserting reed. Then cut the edge of reed stick to make it sharp and thin enough then gently insert the stick in the flower. Be careful that flowers are very fragile.
However, not all kind of sola flower can easily insert the reed without damage the flower and the best way to add reed is adding them while making flower. If you would like to purchase them with reed, rope or rope with hidden wire stem please message me.

How to color them?
Flowers has original white color from natural sola wood. You can use them as white and brown bark or add colors on them. There are many technique for Coloring sola flowers. Most of my customer do acrylic paint, some of them just dip the flower in color bowl and some using spray paint. Just to be careful not to soak them too much since the curls and creases will be loosened by water and return to its original flat sheet.

What is sola flower?
