The B-plane jacket is made of boiled wool (100% virgin wool, STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®), a fantastic material, because it warms but doesn't make you sweat (regulates body temperature in a natural way) and also holds drizzle well .
The jacket can be worn from the first cool evenings of September until spring and can also be used as a winter jacket. If it's very cold, I recommend maybe putting another layer of wool or cotton underneath.
You can choose the lining of the hood!
You have the choice between a Cotton Jersey (dark gray)
or (as in the photo) a soft plush-like fabric (100% BIO cotton), which costs 6 Euros more (ATTENTION: to choose from the "+ plush" menu).
The sleeves have cuffs in organic cotton elastic fabric. I chose dark gray for all the garments, because with a dark color the dirt is less visible ;-).
In the front pocket you can store small treasures found in the woods (our pockets are ALWAYS full of stones and sticks....).
The jacket closes with a large zip (with chin guard) and behind the hood is a fabric hook for hanging.
The cut is simple, unisex, so the jacket can be worn by both boys and girls.
In the photo, the girl (height 122 cm) wears a jacket in tg. 128.

Information on boiled wool:
Boiled wool is a 100% natural product made from sheep's wool, denser and more resistant than virgin wool. Contains no chemical additives.
How is boiled wool created?
The pure wool is first knitted and then felted and compacted through a special steam and heat treatment. The fabric shrinks up to 40% during this process (the fulling process) and the contraction of the wool fibers traps a large number of air chambers which store the released body heat and keep cold air from outside.
Boiled wool has wonderful properties:
- warming, but also thermoregulating and breathable
- almost self-cleaning (the fibers transport the dirt to the outside) and additionally has an antibacterial effect
- water and dirt repellent thanks to fat in the wool (lanolin) and air chambers, water droplets simply roll off the surface of the fabric
- retains bad odors poorly
- its specific gravity is low
Wash:
Thanks to the fiber structure and the fat of the wool, bacteria and dirt hardly settle. Dirt and moisture are transported out of the fabric.
To clean the garment, it is sufficient to hang it in the open air (perhaps over night). Once dry, the dirt can be brushed off by hand or with a soft brush (important: wait until the dirt is really dry).
If this is not enough (perhaps after a nice flight in the mud ;-) , you can wash the garment carefully by hand in warm water with a wool detergent. Do not soak the garment for too long and do not wring or rub it afterwards. After rinsing, simply wrap it in a towel, wring it out carefully and let it dry lying down on a towel.
