THIS PIECE HAS SOLD & REMAINS IN MY SHOP AS A PORTFOLIO PIECE ***

This Mid Century Stereotone Console manufactured in the 1950s by Korting, a German manufacturer, was completely revamped into a functional one-of-a-kind statement piece. Stripped in its entirety and all the stereo equipment removed, this piece was then refinished using a black artisan paint, lightly hand sanded smooth and sealed with artisan wax. All exposed raw wood was left in its natural condition and sealed, preserving its mid century modern aesthetic. New panels were inserted behind the old speaker openings and a black & white quatrefoil wallpaper was applied. The entire cubby was repaired and lined using the same wallpaper. A shelf was also added for additional storage.
