A handprinted, linocut of the wildflower Orange Balsam. The flower was imported into the UK from America and grows wild by waterways, in this case by the Grand Union Canal in Northamptonshire. I spotted it whilst walking the towpath and just find it really beautiful, to me its like a wild orchid. Available in an orange gradient or a yellow ochre which is a mustard colour.
