Please Measure your finger to see if it can accommodate nearly 1 1/2" x 1" x 1/2" Huge ring. Ring is a size 9; because there is a 1/4" full opening under ring. That could be closed & it would be size 8.
Large Face of ring is 1 3/8" tall by 7/8" wide raised 1/2". This is thick beautiful molded 100 year old Black Glass Unique Cameo. It is not new, not mint. It has several miniscule flea bites.
I would be remiss if I did not remind you glass cameos are not for every day wear. I have seen cameo rings worn to a nub on other web sites. I presently have 30+ unused 1910 glass cameo Paris workshop rings. They are beautiful, rare & great. This heavy thick glass. To find them see my "1910 glass cameo" SECTION on left.
Classic example of early 1900s traditional French Pate de verre, the artist mixed crushed glass with enamels or paint to form a paste that was carefully placed in a mold, Displaying belle époque opulence. Per Wikipedia " Glass casting is the process in which glass objects are cast by directing molten glass into a mould where it solidifies. The technique has been used since the Egyptian period. Modern cast glass is formed by a variety of processes such as kiln casting, or casting into sand, graphite or metal moulds. Pate de verre gained renown as an art form by French artists Émile Gallé, Antonin Daum and Réné Lalique. The final result is a piece of sculpture that has a surface with a texture that is similar to fine sugar." .
