This is pattern #14 in my Magic Scrap patterns. It is beginner friendly, you only need to know how to ch, sc and hdc. The hat is made holding 2 strands of yarn together at the same time throughout.

These fun and functional crochet bucket hats are intentionally oversized, stretchy and comfortable. The pattern is one size fits most as they fit big and will accommodate most preteens to adults with large brains ♥ The first hat pictured has a 24” brim and measures 9” from top to bottom. The pattern is easy to customize to fit any size by adding or removing rows.

This hat makes you feel like you've accomplished something :) and it only takes about 2 hours to make! and the bucket hat is super trendy right now! ♥ Throw all your leftover yarn in a pile and leave it there until it's gone because you'll want to make many of these! If you run out, I have lots more!

Materials
3.5 oz Magic Scrap Yarn Cake or approximately 175 yds of leftover yarn from other projects all tied together with a magic knot (see pg. 4) OR any worsted weight #4 yarn. Only acrylic, variegated yarn was used in this project and 2 strands of yarn are held together throughout.
Crochet hook size N (10 mm)
