Summarized by AI

Healthy plant Fast shipping Helpful seller Well packaged Arrived safely Love it

“Shipping was delayed by the courier. Being in the shipping box for 9 days, the plant looked limb and malnourished. I totally understand it's out of the seller, Tom's control. I reflected (not complained) the plant's condition to Tom and that I would try to revive the plant and update him. In 2 days I was greeted by a package at my door. Tom graciously surprised me with a replacement. The plant looks healthy and beautiful. Appreciate the kind gesture. Thank you.”

Specifications

We offer styrofoam boxes for cold protection (Optional)!!!

Pesticide free and Non-GMO!!!

The Navaho Blackberry is a thorn-less variety that is upright, meaning it does not need a trellis to grow on. The Navaho Blackberry Plant produces huge tasty berries in large clusters, and a handful of these delicious thorn-less blackberries will thrill your family and neighbor. If you eat a bowlful of Navaho blackberries, you will appreciate the sweet flavor of this blackberry. Ideal for jams and jellies, juice and wine, and of course, fresh eating.

Quality is equal to Cheyenne and Shawnee. One of the best overall variety. Withstands temperatures down to -9 degrees. Highly recommended for the home orchard.

This lovely, easygoing blackberry will fruit best in a sheltered spot in full sun, light shade is fine too, with moisture-retentive but well-drained soil.

Space plants around 60cm apart and mulch the soil with well-rotted manure in spring. Keep the canes watered in hot summers, and there's not much more to do. These are self-supporting, upright canes that won't need staking or tying in. In autumn, cut all the canes that fruited right down to the ground, leaving any new canes that have yet to produce flowers and fruit.

Blackberries will do well with other cane fruits nearby, so try creating a dedicated berry area in the garden, with some hybrid boysenberries, tayberries or loganberries alongside, to extend your berry-eating season.
