Aspens are possibly the most magical of all the trees. Their clean, white trunks spotted with black, rising sleek on a mountainside is one sight to behold, but their leaves are something else entirely. When a wind comes, they flutter and flit to create a beautiful symphony of sound. Then, they turn to this delicate shade of lemon yellow muddled with gold in the autumn. These trees are nothing short of magic.
Lone Grove captures a family of Aspen trees changing leaves in the Fall. This is a Poured + Speckled colorway. Half of the skein is a delicate mix of bright yellow and golden yellow to depict those autumn leaves. The other half is speckled with black to create the trunks. This colorway is begging to be made into a wrap.
Plays well with :
Red on the Rocks
Needles
Each skein is hand dyed by me using acid dyes, and set with heat and acid. Skeins are washed after setting, but some color may leak in the first wash with a gentle soap. Keep your skeins happy by adding a little white vinegar to your wash. It balances the pH level, and prevents leaking. Like all hand dyed yarn, no two skeins are perfectly alike, but I promise to never send you ugly yarn!
This is a Ready to Ship listing. Ready to Ship skeins ship in 2-3 business days. All Ready to Ship orders placed after 12PM cst (Oklahoma time) will ship the next Monday.
