Glass, metal, and memory. This series began with whiskey bottles—painted one by one, always from life. But before long, my attention turned to beer: first the bottles, then the cans. Each had its own pull—amber glass that caught the light like stained glass windows, or matte aluminum surfaces that curved and shimmered with reflected color. I was drawn not only to their design—the geometry of a can, the lettering on a label, the quiet elegance of a bottle’s shape—but to what they carried: shared moments, seasonal rituals, and personal favorites.

Rendered in watercolor, these objects become portraits. I study how light filters through golden lagers and dark stouts, how condensation clings to cold metal, how labels fade or tear with time. Every can and bottle holds a small story. This series is, at its core, a celebration of those stories—how form meets memory, and how something as simple as a drink can hold light, history, and joy.

What You'll Receive

Your made-to-order print is crafted with archival pigment inks and certified materials for vibrant, lasting colors. Each print is carefully inspected for quality before shipping. Choose from:

- Textured watercolor paper (unframed), with a painterly texture for rich depth
- Matte archival paper (unframed), with crisp detail and bold contrast
- Stretched canvas (ready to hang with wire backing), hand-stretched on 1.5-inch bars with a UV-protective satin finish and warm tan edges

Sizes reflect paper or canvas dimensions; borders may vary slightly. Want a custom canvas edge color? Leave a note at checkout. See listing photos for more information on material options.

Custom Sizes

Need a different size? I can print most artwork up to 40x60 inches. For example, a 16x20 print fits perfectly above a standard sofa. Message me to discuss options.

Processing Times

- Paper prints up to 16x20: 1-2 business days
- Large paper prints (20x30 and up) and canvas prints: 1-2 weeks

Shipping Details

- United States: All orders ship with tracking. Prints up to 16x20 ship flat; larger paper prints are rolled. Delays may occur, but I'll work with you to resolve any issues.
- International: I don't typically ship internationally, but contact me to check if it's possible. Only rolled canvas prints are available for international shipping; large stretched canvases are not available. Note that some countries may charge VAT or import fees, not included in your order.
