Traditionally handmade mittens made with 100% wool and stuffed with fleece for extra warmth. Dark Grey with natural stripe and natural fleece thrums.

Adult Small - finished outside measurements: 3.75 inches across, 7.5 inches from base of palm to tip of hand.
Adult Medium - finished outside measurements: 4.25 inches across, 8.75 inches from base of palm to tip of hand.
Adult Large - finished outside measurements: 4.5 inches across, 9.25 inches from base of palm to tip of hand.

Hand wash inside out in cool water and lay flat or hang to dry

Thrummed mittens may have originated in Atlantic Canada. The layer of fleece on the inside adds warmth and softness. With wearing it will felt together contributing to increased warmth and water resistance of the mitten. I

The workmanship in these mittens is beautiful. The only thing I would change about them is the top part where it is knit into a vee shape; I prefer a rounded top. (and it's just a personal preference)

This is the first time I've ever had thrummed mittens, and I really like them! I live in a very cold area, so these have been amazing while shoveling snow. They look exactly as pictured, and are such a great price. I would say that if you have sensitive skin, these may not be for you as wool is scratchy. But wool is the warmest for my cold hands so I don't mind! Thanks, Manda!
