How many pages are in the journals? Can I add more pages to my book?

Each hand sewn journal comes with 180 pages. Pocket journals & vow books come with 110 pages. Refillable journals come with 4 booklets, each with 48 pages for a total of 192. Refillable pocket journals come with 2 booklets, each with 48 pages for a total of 96. Pages are counted front and back. You can add more pages! What are the 2025 holiday/Christmas order deadlines?

Orders placed on or before October 31st should arrive on or before December 25th, if the correct address is provided at checkout. Orders placed after October 31st may not arrive by the 25th of December, but I will do my best to get them made and out the door as fast as I can. If you are worried about not having something to wrap up & give by a specific date, please message me for a free graphic which you can print and place in a card as a placeholder.

Can I have a custom logo or image debossed?

Absolutely! We are happy to offer this service. Please contact us with your logo and requirements before placing your order to get everything set up. This will add fees and increase production time as we will need a custom metal stamp.

What paper option is best for me?

Blank: Thick 80lb smooth text paper, perfect for writing & drawing, can handle watercolor paints without bleed through. Can handle fountain pens. Lined: Thick 80lb smooth text paper, with light grey narrow ruled (5mm) lines, can handle light washes of watercolor paint. Can handle fountain pens. Recipe: Thick 80lb smooth text paper, printed with a recipe template for you to fill in your own recipes by hand.

Can I have gold/silver foil embossing?

Although it would be extremely inexpensive, quick & easy - we do not offer gold/silver foil embossing as it does not meet our high quality standards. It does not last. We do not care for temporary. We offer "blind embossing" (no foil) using high pressure & heat only since this is the highest quality option.

How do the refillable journals work? Do I have to use Forest Nine refill inserts?

The refillable leather journals are made with tough elastics which hold the inserts securely in place. It's super easy to remove them to insert new booklets, just pull it off of the elastic & insert the new one. No skill required. You can use any inserts with Forest Nine journal covers, you do not have to use our refills.

Will I have to pay any tariff to the USA? Do you ship DDP?

All USA orders ship DDP, no tariff or duties. You will not have to pay anything upon delivery, all duties paid.

I love these journals, this is my second one. I will say that this time, I don’t love the paper. In my first one the paper was great. This time the paper is as if its poster board and slippery under the pen. If I don’t need it immediately I would return it. But I do love the journals.
