Tailors clapper made from hardwood maple
Quilters are discovering the secret to flat crisp seams that tailors have known for years - wood clappers! Used with your steam iron by focusing pressure directly on the seam for a flat seam reducing bulky quilt blocks.
These handmade clappers are made from solid hard maple.
Clapper measures 11 1/2 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide tapered down to 2 1/2 inches and is 1 7/8 in thick.
It weighs approximately 1 1/2 lbs.
Unfinished wood has grooves on both sides for easier handling
Colors may vary from the picture, they may be lighter or darker depending on the variations of color in the wood used
