This duo of cross stitch patterns features two designs celebrating the North American cordillera: a mountain range and a grizzly bear. If you love the great outdoors and want to celebrate the beauty of nature for a few hours of stitching, this design is for you!

This listing consists of a two PDF documents and does not include the supplies required to make this project.
You will receive 2 PDF digital files which include:

- Two patterns with DMC colour names, codes and symbols;
- Two patterns showcasing black and white symbols only;
- A photo of the finished pieces;
- Stitching tips for each pattern.

If you want to print this pattern, please note that it is optimized for letter size paper (total of 4 pages for each design).

The cordillera design is 69 stitches wide x 62 stitches high. It involves the use of 11 colours and is made using full stitches and a few back stitches. The finished pattern, when stitched on 14 count aida cloth, fits well into a 6" embroidery hoop. The sample in the photo was stitched on 14 count oatmeal coloured Aida (fiddler's cloth).

The grizzly design is 50 stitches wide x 50 stitches high. It involves the use of 9 colours and is made using full and three-quarter stitches. The finished pattern, when stitched on 14 count aida cloth, fits well into a 4" embroidery hoop. The sample in the photo was stitched on 14 count black Aida.

This pattern was very easy to read. I love the color combo used. This is a nice, small project that looks really great when finished. I put it in a 5x7 frame. I used 14 ct aida. I will be back for more!
