Treat all jewellery carefully. Do not bathe with it on to ensure longevity. The fully stainless steel pieces i have, for example, Wolf earrings or Anatomical hearts are safe to get wet and have showers/baths with. The rest of the earrings are finished with stainless steel hooks and rings which are hypoallergenic and safe. However if its mentioned in description that the earring itself is zinc alloy or alloy, its safer not to shower with those earrings so they look as brand new as the day you received it. Also, try to store it away out of direct sunlight to maintain the finish. Some pieces may have sharp ends like hat pins, brooches or brass patches. Please handle with care and children under 13 should be monitored for safety reasons.

I always will present an example of a finished piece, but that's just for display. If you require a larger or smaller cut of chain, or velvet let me know, it can be customized at no additional cost.

Returns and Exchanges

Due to the fact i'm selling hand made jewellery, for hygienic purposes, jewellery cannot be exchanged or returned for refund. I am also custom cutting velvet or chain for you which will render it unsellable to another customer. I encourage you ask questions prior to purchasing so you are totally happy and satisfied with your decision to purchase. I try to give lots of details in description and welcome any additional queries. CONDITIONS: If you need to return or exchange something, it will be on a case by case basis due to the intimate nature of the items in question. Earrings will not be able to be returned, but a pendant maybe able to. Please contact me if you have any issues with your order. I'm here to help! :)

How long will it take to dispatch?

Every piece is made to order. Please allow several days for construction. I will also keep you updated prior to it being shipped so you have a better idea when you'll receive it. If the availability of a certain piece such as a bead is not available, i will contact you first with a suitable substitution. You are free to cancel the order if you don't like the subsituted bead, for example. My pieces are based on whats available by the various suppliers i choose.

Shipping Requirements

For customers outside of Canada, I do need to fill out a Customs Form. The new forms require me to add your telephone number. This is purely for the forms, i'm not making calls! lol. When you purchase the item and I'm in touch with you, kindly provide your telephone number. This is to protect you if there is any problem with delivery then at least your local post office can call. If you choose not to provide your phone number and there is any issues with delivery, it is your responsibility to be in touch with your local office if they are unable to reach you direct. I will also create the customs page so it's most beneficial for you so you should not incur additional charges upon delivery.

How to use Collar Pins?

When you get your handcrafted collar pin, it will be placed on a card. Flip the card over to see the backing. Press down on the clutch and then gently pull up. The collar pin will be lifted out of the card. Now you can place on your collar, your purse, canvas bag, jacket, wherever you like. Always remember to remove your collar pin before doing laundry or dry cleaning. I test all my collar pins before i sell so they will all be in working order. Please ask any questions if in doubt :)

Requesting a Cancellation?

If you should purchase and decide to cancel. I get charged transaction fees from etsy for the cancellation of the sale. There will be a penalty absorbed by the customer for a change of heart. Please be certain you want the item before you process the transaction. The charge is CDN3.00.

Here we have the classic Victorian hands in mourning set as collar pins. The hands are alloy and are lead free. it is attached by stainless steel chain and secured by metal clutch pins. Will present in organza gift bag, please ask any questions :)

Please note the hands only come in one orientation. They are all right hands. It doesn’t detract from the beauty of this piece. But if you are particular then consider passing this by and choose another collar pin from my store. I unfortunately cannot get right and left hands.
