These bubble bud vases are great for holding fresh and dried florals! Watertight.

Each one is made entirely by hand. First, I slip-cast the vase. This is a process that involves pouring liquid clay -  “slip” - into a plaster mold and waiting for the desired thickness to dry. Before pouring I hand sift the clay for impurities and debris.

After the piece is perfect, the vase goes through a two-stage hand-painted glazing process where I ensure its quality + durability. I first apply underglaze in a color combination that makes them pop. Then I toast them in a kiln at 1945*F. Once it’s been fired I finish them off with a clear matte glaze. This gives the piece a nice hand feel and soft appearance. I then fire it one last time at the same temperature.

If needed, hand washing is always recommended to help keep these pieces looking their best.

I source my clay and supplies from a locally owned family business that makes the clay on site.
