'Forest Spirit' pendant with bright green Emerald. Inspired by foliage from the Acanthus plant seen on the many decorated areas of ancient Byzantine and Greek architecture. The Acanthus was also extensively seen in the Art Nouveau period of the late 19th century. Celebrated designer and illustrator William Morris used the Acanthus in his wallpaper designs and jewelry icon Rene Lalique incorporated the Acanthus in many famed Art Nouveau period jewelry pieces of the era, which this pendant also took inspiration from.

The material for this Emerald is velvety and rich, mimicking the perfect natural Emerald, though this is without structurally compromising inclusions. It has a lovely dark appearance with extraordinary bright flashes of pure green. The Hydrothermal growth process imitates the natural formation of gemstones. The raw gemstone materials are dissolved in a water solution by being subjected to intense heat and pressure, mimicking the conditions found deep in the earth. The gem crystals grow at a very slow rate which can take up to 10 months to complete.

Pendant is 43mm by 43 mm and the emerald is 9mm. Material is Sterling Silver.

I accept exchanges for the same design of ring, especially when it comes to sizing issues. Please try your best to get the correct size for the ring wanted. Exchanges for a different design of ring with a different stone will incur a separate fee for the extra stone, metal and other consumables used in the process of making another ring.

If you get your finger sized and the person who sized it says you need need to add a 1/2 size for the knuckle, that is not usually the case. There are exceptions to this with the elderly or wide large sized men's ring's, or just people with large knuckle's. When measuring ring size, ideally the ring should be tight enough that it doesn’t fall off but loose enough to take it off if need be.
