If you are wearing your wedding ring along side another ring then we recommend choosing a ring of a similar depth so you do not feel a step as you run your fingers across them.
Width is personal preference. Some people like to have their wedding ring more prominent, others prefer something more discreet.
Your hand shape and size will also determine the width ring you can get away with. Generally the longer your fingers are the wider ring you can wear.

We would always recommend getting your finger professionally sized at a jewellers with a ring of a similar width to what you would like to order as wider rings may need to be slightly bigger than narrow.

We can offer one free resize of your ring. However further resizes will be charged.
Items which have been personalised with engraving may not be able to be resized and so it is important to check you have the right size ring to start with. We are happy to send you a sample prior to you ordering your ring in gold or platinum - please contact us for details.

Erin Cox created 8 original rings. Moulds have been taken of these so that we can make multiples that will look the same. When you order a ring we cast your chosen metal using the lost wax method in our UK based casting company. The ring then comes back to our Exeter based studio where we ‘clean it up’ - remove the sprew, file, sand, polish and size. Once this is done the ring is sent to London where Erin’s makers mark, the metal mark (950 - platinum, 750 - 18ct, 375- 9ct) and date stamp are applied inside. We then send the ring onto it’s new owner.

We advise customers to allow 6 weeks as we have to rely on the postal service for sending the rings to be hallmarked and to come to us from being cast. There can sometimes be delay at hallmarking which is out of our control. However the majority of the time rings are ready before this time.

If you want personalisation such as engraving or diamond setting we would ask a little longer as these customisations are carried out by hand by skilled professionals.

There are several ways of making your ring more personal. We are able to engrave your ring with a message, initials or date. We use a skilled hand engraver who produces the most incredible work. We also offer diamond, ruby or sapphire setting. You can choose to have a stone hidden inside or set on the surface of your ring. Choose from either gypsy setting or micro pave. With gypsy setting you can choose the exact number of stones you want and where. Micro pave style setting is best used for half eternity settings. Please contact us to discuss your bespoke ring commission.

Yes! We would need to know how much gold you have, what size and style ring you would want. If you had enough or more that enough then it is a straight forward cast. Your metal would be melted and used for the lost wax casting as normal. The only difference is our caster would ensure he used a separate pot for your gold ensuring what you got back again was your own sentimental gold. If you did not have enough gold we would quote for additional gold needed.

Unfortunately we can not mix carat weight of gold or platinum with gold, nor can we change the colour of your gold - i.e. if you had yellow gold we can not make it white!
