Frames Are Not Included - Follow These Framing Tips

Frames are not included, and I’m currently unable to offer framing services. Because these prints are created on authentic antique book pages, their sizes can vary slightly. However, each artwork is carefully designed so that the page can be trimmed to fit a standard 8x10 inch frame. Need trimming tips? Just send me a message, I’m happy to share easy step-by-step advice to help you get a perfect fit. Framing suggestions: The easiest and most budget-friendly option is a ready-made 8x10 frame. Want something more eye-catching? A frame with a 3-inch wide border and complimentary matting adds an elegant, gallery-style look. No matter your choice, these prints are easy to frame and display beautifully in a variety of styles and settings.

The unframed 125+ year old dictionary pages are approximately 8x11 inches but the artwork is configured for 8x10 frames should that be your preference. The top and bottom of the pages have generous margins and can easily be trimmed to fit the 8x10 frames which come in a wider and more fashionable variety than 8x11 document frames. The 110+ year old music pages are a bit larger but, again, the unframed artwork is configured to fit 8x10 frames should you decide to trim the pages to fit. I rarely have orders go missing but if they do it's usually because a carrier left it in an unexpected spot. My packages are large (9x12 or 10x13) white envelopes with bright red PLEASE DO NOT BEND stamps. They do not fit in standard sized residential mailboxes. Is there a safe place that your carrier usually leaves over-sized mail? Or could a family member have picked it up and placed it on the kitchen counter or the backseat of their car? An antique dictionary page from the late 1800s printed with my original artwork of a funny fennec fox.

I currently work with a set of dictionaries that I found on the "Free To A Good Home" table at a local Friends of the Library sale. Published in 1897, this handsome four volume leather bound set was very much out of date and in poor shape. Sadly, the books were destined for the ash heap of history (aka the local landfill.)

But they were also just so beautiful that I couldn't let them be destroyed. I hoped that eventually others would love and appreciate their beauty as much as I do. Now the history of the books and the beautiful patina of their worn and well-loved pages can add a timeless dimension to your new artwork.

The dictionary pages have been carefully removed from the sewn bindings. The actual printed pages you will receive will be selected from the same set of antique dictionaries.
